Watch What You Say

It's so easy to get caught up in complaining when we surround ourselves with people that do nothing but, complain. Maybe we had a very bad day which lead to our complaining. Maybe everything that keeps happening in our life is negative and never good or at least it feels this way. If it does feel this way we need to start thinking positive. That sounds pretty difficult, I know. What I'm trying to say is that we're supposed to think of the positive in every situation rather than focusing on the negative things that can be happening at the time. Everybody goes through storms. Everybody goes through rough patches but, it's how we react or don't react is what counts. When we go through hard times, it's important to know that this is only temporary and something good is going to happen afterward. If we train ourselves to think and speak this way, we will feel a lot better and won't allow such times to bring us down and stress us out. We will look forward to what's coming in the future, rather than focusing on this moment. Instead of complaining about the situation, be sure to pray and thank the Lord for opening your eyes and thanking Him for what's to come out of this. If we just sit there and complain the whole time then we will make ourselves stuck, stressed and not fun to be around. Don't worry about how you can fix things. Pray and leave it to God. Give your worries to God and be sure to speak it!

Mark (NLT) 11:23
I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.

Matthew (NLT) 6:25-34
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26, Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27, Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28, "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29, Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30, If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you- you of little faith. 31, So do not worry, saying "what shall we eat?" or "what shall we drink?"or "what shall we wear?" 32, For the pagans run after all these things, and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33, But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34, Therefore do not worry about tomorrow , for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
