Everywhere you go, try to find good things to do and people to encourage. Compliment somebody you may come across, it may make their day. You never know what somebody can be going through that day you give them a compliment. The smallest thing can bring a smile to their face and can help them feel better. Some people don't get to hear positive things about themselves enough and maybe they only see their flaws. So getting a compliment may help them to rethink about how they are perceiving themselves'. Even if complimenting somebody means just letting a cashier know that they are doing an awesome job, letting a teacher know how thankful you are to having them as your child's teacher or any type of worker that provides a service. That can mean the world to them as well. So remember, when you go out today, compliment somebody.
Acts 10:38 (NLT)
And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

Don't Give In To Temptation
Everybody gets tempted sometime in their life, regardless of if they admit this or not. Just because we get tempted doe not mean we have to give in. Whatever the temptation may be for us, it may be difficult to not give in to it because we are used to giving in or it just looks sooooo good! Maybe we have that mindset, "just this once". The truth is, it will never be just that one time. The enemy is the one that puts these temptations in front of us because he knows what areas we are or were weak in. Study these verses if you are struggling:
James 1:2-3 (Amplified)
James 1:12 (Amplified)
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
Mark 14:38(Amplified)
James 1:2-3 (Amplified)
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
James 1:12 (Amplified)
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
Mark 14:38(Amplified)
"Keep watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Luke 22:40 (Amplified)
When He arrived at the place, He said to them, "Pray that you may not enter into temptation."

Show Love To The Unloved
There are certain people we come across that are so miserable all of the time, it almost feels impossible to love these people. What we don't see is how they are hurting on the inside. They are most likely showing anger because they are hurting so much on the inside they don't want people to see the hurt they are going through or the hurt they have been through in the past. Sometimes people hold bitterness toward somebody that did something wrong to them in the past. The only way to heal from this would be to learn to forgive. It's hard to find peace in our hearts if we can't let go of things and leave it to God. If we get stuck in the past or focused so much on something negative in their life they can make themselves very sick, mentally and physically. We need God. Hurting people need to be loved. We have to show them love regardless of how angry they may seem. We have to pray for them and if they are willing we can pray upon them. Show love to the unloved.
Luke 6:35 (NLT)
But love your enemies, do good to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
Matthew 6:14-15 (NLT)
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Luke 6:35 (NLT)
But love your enemies, do good to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
Matthew 6:14-15 (NLT)

Watch What You Say
It's so easy to get caught up in complaining when we surround ourselves with people that do nothing but, complain. Maybe we had a very bad day which lead to our complaining. Maybe everything that keeps happening in our life is negative and never good or at least it feels this way. If it does feel this way we need to start thinking positive. That sounds pretty difficult, I know. What I'm trying to say is that we're supposed to think of the positive in every situation rather than focusing on the negative things that can be happening at the time. Everybody goes through storms. Everybody goes through rough patches but, it's how we react or don't react is what counts. When we go through hard times, it's important to know that this is only temporary and something good is going to happen afterward. If we train ourselves to think and speak this way, we will feel a lot better and won't allow such times to bring us down and stress us out. We will look forward to what's coming in the future, rather than focusing on this moment. Instead of complaining about the situation, be sure to pray and thank the Lord for opening your eyes and thanking Him for what's to come out of this. If we just sit there and complain the whole time then we will make ourselves stuck, stressed and not fun to be around. Don't worry about how you can fix things. Pray and leave it to God. Give your worries to God and be sure to speak it!
Mark (NLT) 11:23
I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
Matthew (NLT) 6:25-34
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26, Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27, Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28, "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29, Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30, If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you- you of little faith. 31, So do not worry, saying "what shall we eat?" or "what shall we drink?"or "what shall we wear?" 32, For the pagans run after all these things, and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33, But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34, Therefore do not worry about tomorrow , for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Don't Listen To The Devil
A couple of days ago, I was about to leave for work in the morning when my car wouldn't start. I have my own business which requires me to drive in order to get to and from work. I need my car in order to get paid! Well, I was getting very angry on the inside but, had to remind myself that this is a small deal. What would getting angry solve? The devil wants me to be angry, and stay that way. I ended up calling up my client I had for that day to let them know I wouldn't make it and they were okay with that. My husband was freaking out because we only have one vehicle and I always drive him to work. I was trying to keep him calm. Letting him know that this is temporary. The car was fixed the next morning. I prayed and prayed...Thank you Lord for putting the right people in my life to care enough to fix my car so soon and allowing the problem to be so minor.
So, after this every time I started my car I had that voice in my head that it wasn't going to start. "your car isn't going to start", over and over again but, I knew where that voice was coming from. It was coming from the devil. He wants us to be down, and think negative. God wants us to think positive. What we think, will happen. If we want to think negative all the time then, yes negative things will happen all of the time. If we think positive, positive things will happen. So, don't listen to the devil!
Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Stay Conneceted
If you want to stay sane and keep a positive attitude, it is vital that we have to stay connected to others. When we begin to drift away from others, many of us get stuck in our heads and begin to think the wrong way. If we are staying connected the way we should and are helping and giving with our hearts then our attitudes will be better and we will feel much better also. The enemy wants us to be disconnected with people. The enemy wants us to be sad, depressed, anxious, and isolate ourselves from others. Jesus wants us to have healthy relationships and to have them out of love. We have to try to be like Jesus would be with people. He would not be negative towards anybody and He would not allow any negative type behavior inside of Him. We have to be strong and recognize this when it starts so we don't fall into this hole.
John 15:13 (NLT)
There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friend.
Colossians 3:23
Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than people.
