Don't Stress!

Don't stress? What kind of title is this that you ask? I thought I would talk about how stressed we get at times and really what does it do for us? Nothing, absolutely nothing at all. Perhaps we will get headaches, feel sick to our stomachs, complain to people, become bitter, maybe isolate ourselves from others and sit there and meditate on everything that's stressing us out. None of this is what God wants nor is it healthy or helpful for us in any way.

We need to have the proper tools to know what to do when we face "storms" that may become challenging for us. I understand how hard it can be to pray when your mind is filled with the challenge you may be facing and it is okay if it is hard. You don't have to pray perfectly. Just simply speak to the Lord and ask Him to help you with your situation, ask Him to give you the strength that you need at the moment and moments you will face ahead. Then you must receive it and give thanks to Him for His help. Are you so stressed that you don't even know what to ask help for or where to start? Be calm, ask Him to help you in everywhere area you are struggling in at this time. Just be sure that you will be ready to make the changes He will show you. It's also important and helpful to read the best book in the world, the bible. Read some scriptures to get out of your head and be encouraged.
We can't live a happy life if we are always stressed out. Another way to look at things would be that there are always other people in worse situations than us so, why are we complaining so much? There are probably many people that would be very grateful to be in our situations rather than theirs'. We have to start being thankful for everything we have and thankful that we are alive, on earth and realize that we are all here for a purpose and it's not to complain everyday and be bitter. None of us know when our last days are so we need to start living in love rather than hate or unforgiveness toward people. I hope this can encourage you in some way, feel free to leave any comments below and follow me for more blog updates!
