Don't Look Back

Most people have something from their past that they are ashamed of or maybe something in their past really hurt them and they are still carrying that hurt today. The thing is if you have repented, and have accepted Jesus into your heart then anything you have done in your past that was wrong, the Lord has forgiven you. You do not have to carry any hurt anymore either, you are loved so much by Jesus and He wants you to be happy, confident and strong. Yes, we are all humans and of course we will be hurt sometime or another, that's normal but to constantly feel down and depressed because we are so hurt is no good for us nor healthy. Any sins you have committed in the past, as long as you were honest with the Lord and asked for forgiveness, He will forgive you. Don't keep bringing it up to Him because you only have to bring it up once. He forgives you for that sin and then forgets about it. He doesn't hold onto it as we do as human beings although, we shouldn't. How can you be happy if you are holding onto your wrong doing? Don't do it ever again and do everything in your power to start getting closer to Jesus and you will begin to feel better. Help other people that you know you are capable of helping. Get out of the house and socialize with encouraging people face to face. The Lord wants us to all love and help each other. So today, I just wanted to say don't look back any longer. Move forward. We aren't promised tomorrow so, why not live the best we can today and be happy, stop thinking and speaking of our past.

Matthew 6:14-15 (Message)
In prayer there is a connection in what God does and what you do. You can't get forgiveness from God, for instance, without also forgiving others. If you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God's part.

1 John 1:8-10 (Message)
If we claim we're free of sin, we're only fooling ourselves. A claim that is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins- make a clean breast of them- he won't let us down; he'll be true to himself. He'll forgive us of all our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing. If we claim that we've never sinned, we out-and-out contradict God- make a liar out of him. A claim like that only shows off our ignorance of God.

Acts 3:19 (Amplified)
 So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord;
